Vart is 40 years old. He is married and resides with four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
He has been running the taxi service (tuk tuk taxi) for more than five years, earning approximately $5 per day. His wife is employed in a garment factory. She earns about $3 per day.
Because the tuk tuk is old, Vart is requesting a loan of $700 to purchase a new tuk tuk to run the taxi service. This purchase will help him attract more customers and earn more income to support the family. In the future, he would like to build a new house and help his children earn bachelor’s degrees.
