Mom is 27 years old. She is married and blessed with two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than five years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is an arc welder who earns about $5 per day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation expenses, Mom is requesting a loan of $600 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
