Okello is 48 years old and lives in the town of Kibuli in the Kampala South region of Uganda. He is married and has 6 children, 3 of whom are currently in school. For the past 20 years, Okello has been working hard to manage his retail shop, which sells plumbing equipment and bath tubs.

To help expand his business, Okello has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to to increase his stock, and will help Okello to generate greater profits and to expand the business. Okello hopes that in the future he will be able to earn more profits.

Okello is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Okello who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
