Por is 42 years old. She is married and resides with eight children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been working in the APSARA preservation sector for more than a year, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $2 per day. Three of her children are employed. They earn about $17 per day. Due to the difficulty with her family’s transportation, Por is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run a souvenir shop and help her children earn Bachelor’s degrees. In addition, she hopes to rebuild her house to make it more convenient for her family.
