Maia is the agricultural worker; she helps local farmers in agricultural activities and gets 20 Lari for one day. They work hard, but still don’t have enough income to set aside some savings to improve living conditions of the family. Their total average monthly income is 800 Lari.

Maia requested a loan for purchasing fertilizers and to pay for workers. She will hire workers, which will help her in farming. After cultivation and fertilization of the land, Maia will be able to sow more vegetables and fruits there. Thus, she will get more agricultural products. Maia and Zviad will sell more products from their own truck in nearby villages. This will increase the sales. With increased profits they will be able to spend more on the family’s daily needs. The above mentioned living conditions of the family will improve.
