Pisey is 38 years old. She is married and blessed with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been making creels to sell for more than twenty years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband runs a business purchasing creels and flat baskets from villagers to resell. He earns about $10 per day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Pisey is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her reduce the expenses of her transportation. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
