Marcial is 38 years old. He is married and lives with his wife and four children in the Muy Finca sector of the district of Mochumí, an agricultural area located in the Lambayeque province, an hour and a half from the city of Chiclayo.

For more than twelve years he has made dresses and blouses to sell to a wholesale merchant who makes orders from him seasonally. Additionally, he does farming activities. He raises and sells animals such as cows, sheep, poultry and pigs at his home. He also has a corn crop. He does all of these activities with responsibility and dedication, since his family depends on this support. His wife helps him sometimes.

Marcial wants to acquire fertilizer for his crop and also balanced feed for his animals. To do that he has decided to ask Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 3000 nuevos soles to help him meet his goals.

He has had a loan from the Kiva Fund before. With the money from that loan, he was able to invest in his sewing business and thanks to that help it is going well for him. Marcial is grateful to the people who helped him at that time and he thanks the people who will support him at this time in advance.

Marcial tiene 38 años de edad, es casado y vive junto a su esposa y a sus cuatro hijos en el sector Muy Finca del distrito de Mochumí, una zona agrícola situada en la provincia de Lambayeque, ubicado a una hora y media de la ciudad de Chiclayo.

Se dedica desde hace mas de doce años a la confección de vestidos y blusas, confeccionando estas prendas para vendérselas a un comerciante mayorista que le hace pedidos por temporadas. Adicionalmente se dedica a actividades relacionadas con la agricultura, por un lado cría y vende animales como vacas, ovejas, aves de corral y cerdos en su domicilio, y por el otro cuenta un campo de cultivo en donde ha instalado maíz. Todas estas actividades las realiza con mucha responsabilidad y esfuerzo ya que de ellas depende el sustento de su familia. Su esposa le ayuda eventualmente.

Marcial desea adquirir abonos para su cultivo y también adquirir alimento balanceado para sus animales. Por ello ha creído conveniente solicitar a Edpyme Alternativa un crédito de 3000 nuevos soles que le ayuden a lograr su objetivo.

El ya ha tenido un préstamo financiado con el Fondo Kiva. Con el dinero de aquel préstamo pudo invertir en su negocio de sastrería el cual, gracias a la ayuda recibida va bastante bien. Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses.
