Mrs. Sophal has been a weaver for eleven years. It’s a skill she learned from her aunt. She sells her finished products to the middle man in the village who sells them in Phnom Penh. Apart from weaving, Sophal also sells pork in the village market in the mornings. She has been doing this business for eight years. Her husband is a silk weaver as well.
She is requesting a loan in the amount of $200 to purchase silk material for weaving.
