Euphrasie, age 44, never attended school. She's married to an electrician named Janvier. The couple has four children who all go to school. Three of them are still in the care of the couple.

Euphrasie and her husband live together with their children, and the couple ensures together that the various family expenses are covered.

In order to provide for her family, Euphrasie sells food products and palm oil through the delivery system and in one of Benin's markets. She's been doing this job for about twenty years.

She gets her supplies in one of Benin's markets. In order to bolster their businesses and better satisfy their clientele, Euphrasie and the other members of MAHOULOLO Group are seeking their first loan from ALIDé. They ambition to increase the turnover of their businesses.

Le groupement MAHOULOLO est composé de vingt et une personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Euphrasie est celle ayant une main levée sur la photo. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite pour une première fois l'appui financier de ALIDé. Euphrasie n’a jamais fréquenté l’école. Euphrasie est âgée de 44 ans et est mariée à un électricien du nom de Janvier. Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés dont trois restent à leur charge. Euphrasie et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs enfants et assurent ensemble les diverses de la famille. Pour contribuer aux divers besoins de sa famille, Euphrasie vend depuis une vingtaine d’année, des produits vivriers et de l’huile de palme par le système de livraison et dans un marché du Bénin. Euphrasie s'approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et de mieux satisfaire leur clientèle, Euphrasie et les autres membres du groupement MAHOULOLO sollicitent un premier crédit auprès de ALIDé. Leur ambition est d’accroître le niveau de leur activité.

About Alidé

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
