Peter has been a farmer in Nakuru town for the past five years. He plants cash crops such as maize and beans and it has been very profitable. He is 34 years old, married to Ruth and they have three children.
This will be his fourth loan from KADET LTD and he plans to use it to buy seeds for planting and also use part of it to pay laborers for ploughing the land. With the anticipated profits, Peter plans to pay school fees for his children.
In the future, Peter hopes to grow his farming business and make more income. He also hopes to form a farmers' union and establish a better business platform for farmers in terms of better prices for their produce.
