Kuch is 52 year old. She is married and resides with two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been running a rubber plantation for more than two years, earning approximately 26 USD per day. Her husband helps her run the business. One of her children is a farm worker who earns about 4 USD per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Kuch is requesting a loan of 1,000 USD to purchase farmland for cultivating rice. By doing so, she would be able to generate additional income to support her family. In the future, she would like to run the pepper plantation and rebuild her present house to make it much stronger and provide better living condition for her family.
