Seung is 42 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in fishing for more than 20 years, earning approximately $6 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Three of her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $6 per day. In order to improve her business, Seung is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase a boat engine to use for fishing. This purchase will help her run the business easier and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to help her child earn a Bachelor’s degree.
