Im is 50 years old. She is married and blesses with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband runs the taxi service (motor taxi). He earns about $10 per day. Two of her children are employed in garment factory. They earn about $8 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Im is requesting a loan of $1300 to purchase a walking tractor with a trailer to run the business of carrying firewood to sell. This money will help her acquire the security to start the new business and earn more money to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new bathroom.
