Elizabeth is a widow and a mother of six children. She is forty four years old and has been selling empty barrels and plastic containers for twenty years. The empty barrels and plastic containers are used to store water in many Ghanaian homes for cooking and drinking.
Elizabeth wants to use her loan to buy more empty barrels and plastic containers as the raining season has started and customers will need them to harvest rain water for use.
She is a member of the group called Stewards. The group members agree to be mutually responsible for the loans of their peers.
