Julieta is 52 years old. She lives in a small village of Bolnisi District with her brother – Vitali. They earn their living through an agricultural business. They have a milking cow from which they produce cheese. Part of the milk and cheese are used by the family, and the rest is sold locally. Also, they have pigs and a plot of land, where various fruits are grown: peaches, apricots, cherries and water-melon. Julieta and Vitali are especially busy with the plot during spring and summer seasons in order to ensure a good harvest in late summer which they sell on the local open market. The total average monthly income of the family is 400 Lari
Julieta requested a loan to purchase a milking cow. She will be able to produce and sell more cheese. Thus, she wants to expand her business in order to earn a good profit. With the increased profits, she will be able to reinvest in her agricultural business, as well as spend more on the daily needs of the family. As a result of the above-mentioned activities the living conditions of the family will improve.
