Roberto, es casado y tiene dos hijos que están en etapa escolar, viven en la casa de sus padres ocupando tres habitaciones pequeñas y con paredes de ladrillo, la casa esta ubicada en la zona Plan Autopista de la ciudad de La Paz.
El estudió hasta la secundaria y actualmente percibe ingresos ya que trabaja como chofer por más de doce horas al día. Roberto es el único que solventa los gastos de alimentación, educación y servicios básicos de su familia.
El crédito lo solícita para la reparación de su vehículo, pues necesita cambiar la caja ya que es su herramienta de trabajo y es el único ingreso que tiene para mantener a su familia.
El sueño de Roberto, es tener su casa propia para dar más comodidad a su familia y mejorar su calidad de vida.
Es la primera vez que solicita el crédito junto a IMPRO y KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
