Antoinette Genese
Genese is a young woman of 31. She is the single mother of three children who are between 8 and 17 years old. All three are still attending school. Genese has been working as a trader in a local market for eight years. She sells tomatoes, and sometimes couscous, retail. She buys one crate of tomatoes or one sack of couscous at a time to sell retail. However, this does not make her a great deal of money. She needs this loan as it will allow her to buy several crates of tomatoes or sacks of couscous at once which she will sell wholesale. This will give her a good profit margin and allow her to save for the upcoming start of the school year when her children will return to school.
