Seum is 52 years old. She is widowed and resides with five children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She is a homemaker. Her children are employed in a garment factory. They earn about $17 per day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Seum is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to purchase piglets to breed in order to generate more income to support the family.
