Samneang is 26 years old. He is married and resides with two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. He has been running a business purchasing junk materials to resell for more than seven years, earning approximately $10 per day. His wife is a garment worker who earns about $3 per day.
In order to improve his family’s finances, Samneang is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase mechanical tools to run a repair shop. This money will help him acquire the security to start up the new business and earn more income to support the family. In the future, he would like to build a new house and help his children earn bachelor’s degrees.
