Roselyn is a 42-year-old married woman living in Punta, Panaon, Philippines. She has 2 kids who have assisted her sometimes in the feeding and caring of the animals. The small piggery she is working on at this time commenced 5 years ago. While not the only source of income, Roselyn earns a total of about PHP 25,000 a month. Roselyn joined GDMPC in 2011. She is applying for a loan of PHP 50,000 to purchase feeding supplies for piglets. She wants to give the best possible nourishment to them so as not to be hesitant in naming the price when selling them. The profit to generate from this investment is planned for buying more piglets to gain more income and improve her family's standard of living.
