Epifanía
40-year old Epifanía is a member of the Ccori Ayllu Community Bank. She is a single mother with eight children. She’s been a member of FINCA Peru for three years and earns her living selling cheese to people living in the rainforest. She also sells meals on credit to a group of workers at a telephone company.

Epifanía says that she has learned a lot from the training that she receives at her community bank. She now knows how to save money and spend it appropriately. She is grateful to the institution for providing easy credit terms to women who have few financial resources.

Epifanía plans to use the loan money to buy cheese at wholesale prices so that she can grow her business.

Epifanía es socia del Bancomunal Ccori Ayllu, tiene 40 años de edad, y es madre soltera de 8 hijos. Es socia de FINCA Perú hace 3 años y se dedica a la venta de quesos los cuales lleva a vender a la selva y también se dedica a la venta de comida, ella da comida a crédito a un grupo de trabajadores de una empresa de telefonía. Ella dice que aprendió mucho con las capacitaciones que recibe en su Bancomunal ya que ahora sabe ahorrar e invertir de manera adecuada su dinero. Está agradecida con la institución por que les ofrece facilidades de préstamo a las mujeres de escasos recursos económicos. El préstamo que solicita lo invertirá en la compra de quesos al por mayor par que pueda incrementar su negocio.
