Rosario Del Pilar
Rosario is a young woman of 23. She lives in the lovely city of Pisco, which is noted for its very warm and inviting climate. As well, we can find beautiful beaches. Agriculural activities, as well as small-scale fishing are also carried on. There we also find the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas Candelabra, which receive huge numbers of tourists throughout the year.

Rosario is a single mother and has a small one-year-old whom she adores. When she feels a bit worried or sad she looks at her little one and this way manages to find the strength to keep going. Her little girl is the best and most important thing she has in her life, so she works very hard to succeed.

Rosario sews articles of clothing, and has been a seamstress for four years now. With the proceeds of her work she is able to support her little girl and pay for the household expenses. She started her business with a great deal of effort and by saving, as she previously worked as a helper in a knitting company.

Rosario is very creative, and above all responsible and polite to her customers. She thinks this is the reason her business is doing well, so day by day she devotes herself completely to keeping her business growing.

Rosario is very happy about the help she has been offered by the Kiva lenders, as thanks to the help they have provided her, she will be able to buy a semi-industrial serger, with which she will be able to do better finishing work on her clothing articles, and be able to sew garments with thicker materials.

This way she will be able to continue growing in her business and improving her income. In that way she will be able to continue working day by day to make her biggest dream a reality: "To enable her daughter to have a profession and a happy life."
