Panai is 32 years old, married and supports a family of five. He is a wheat farmer and has been farming for the last eight years, earning a monthly income of 7,000 Kenyan shillings (KES).
He has applied for his fourth loan of KES 50,000 from KADET, which he intends to use to purchase hybrid wheat seeds and fertilizers and also get farm labor for plowing. The anticipated profits will support his activities after planting.
His future plans are to expand his farm and get into large-scale farming.
