Saraveya works hard to support her family. She is married and has a restaurant business in Likoni, Kenya. Saraveya has requested a loan of 40,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) through Yehu Microfinance Trust to buy wheat flour, maize flour and more snack foods to sell in her restaurant. Saraveya has been in this business for 20 years. In the future, she would like to save enough money to improve her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
