Liberathe grows potatoes. This is her first loan cycle with ACB. She will use her loan to buy 200kg of seed potatoes and 40kg of chemical fertilizer, and to pay workers.
In order to expand her farming business, she is planning to buy fields to increase the size of her farm, and will request more loans in the future. In the next few years, she would like to become a major distributor of potatoes in her area. She will use her profits to pay for her children's school fees and build a house for her family.
Liberathe est agriculteur des pommes terre. C’est son premier cycle de prêt avec ACB. Elle va utiliser son crédit afin d’acheter 200kgs des semences des pommes de terre, 40 kgs des engrais chimique et payer la main d’œuvre.
Pour faire croitre son agriculture, elle planifie d’acheter des champs pour agrandir l’étendu de son agriculture et demander d’autres prêts. Dans les prochaines années, elle voudrait être le grand distributeur des pommes des terres dans sa région. Avec les profits, elle prévoit de continuer à payer les frais scolaire pour ses enfants et construire une maison pour sa famille.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
