Zipporah is married and a mother of two children. They are both school-aged children who are dependent upon her. Zipporah has a well-known fast food business where she offers her customers and neighbors, flat bread, beans, cooked rice and soft drinks. She also has a delivery service for customers who request that her products be delivered to their homes.
Zipporah has been doing this work for 3 years, providing her customers with excellent service. She is a person who has a strong desire to get ahead and to help her family through her work.
Zipporah is requesting a loan to do some repairs to her business premises and to purchase more chairs and tables. This will allow her to provide more comfortable service to her customers. She appreciates Yehu Microfinance and Kiva for the help that she is receiving.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
