The communal bank "Patilpamba" is made up of 7 women and 1 man. They live in the Nabon canton, a place with a cold climate that is surrounded by lush vegetation, where the landscapes give one a peaceful feeling. The people here are gracious and friendly, and they still maintain their traditional clothing, culture and other traditions in their towns. The population of this area works in agriculture and livestock production, and many, especially the youths, leave daily to go to the city and work in a variety of economic activities.

Lidia devotes herself to the household chores, and to improve her financial situation she also raises sheep, hens, guinea pigs, pigs and cows that she sells in her community. She also grows crops; part of the harvest is for her family's consumption and she sells the other part.

This is the first loan that she has taken from her communal bank, where she was invited to join by a neighbor. She will use the loan to buy animals and fertilizers for her fields. Her goal is to build a bigger shed for raising hens.
