Maia is 26 years old and lives in the village of Kobuleti District. She is married and lives with her husband, Nugzar, and her two children (3 and 5 years old). Both of them go to kindergarten. Nugzar is a policeman and gets a salary. Maia is involved in agricultural activities. She has a milking cow and a calf. She sells milk in nearby villages. In addition, she owns a plot of land, where corn, nuts, mandarins are grown. She takes the harvested fruits and vegetables to the local open market to sell. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris.
Maia requested a loan to purchase agricultural land. She will sow more fruits and vegetables there and increase her harvest. This will increase the income of the family. With an increased income, she will be able to reinvest in the family agricultural business. Due to the above-mentioned, living conditions of the family will improve.
