Mwanakombo has her sewing shop in Tiribe, Mombasa where she works hard each day to be able to fulfill the orders of all her customers.
She is applying to Yehu Microfinance Trust and to Kiva for the loan, to be able to buy different fabrics and some materials she urgently needs in order to meet her customers' demands.
Mwanakombo defines herself as a very hard-working and enterprising person who wishes to be able to work, and in that way, keep helping her family through her work.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
