Ta is 26 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been employed in a garment factory for more than 4 years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is also employed in a garment factory. He earns about $3 per day.
Due to difficulties with her family’s transportation, Ta is requesting a loan of $1200 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family.
In the future, she would like to run an additional business to generate extra income to support the family and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and more convenient for her family.
