Mai was born in 1978. She has just given birth to her two little sons. Her husband works as a porter to gain an earning of 3,000,000 VND for her family. She is a tailor as well as a farmer who raises chickens, pigs, ducks and rice to afford her own family’s living expenses. She can get 4,000,000 VND per month. Thus the family’s income could be 7,000,000 VND a month. She has taken part in the crediting program of SEDA since 2008. The last cycle, she borrowed 6,758,000 VND and repaid this loan on time. In this loan cycle, she wants to borrow 8,502,000 VND within 50 weeks to raise animals.
