Eric is age 27 and married with two children, ages 8 and 6 years old. He has been in various businesses – mainly running a phone charging and barber shop in his rural home besides farming. He has now had two years in active farming and currently produces milk, tea and eggs for the local market.
Eric has made a loan request for 62,400 Kenyan shillings from Juhudi Kilimo to buy an additional dairy cow in order to expand his milk production capacity. He says the income will be channeled to improve his family's living standards. Eric notes that access to capital has always been a challenge and Juhudi Kilimo loans will alleviate the challenge.
