Guadalupe's story

Guadalupe needs additional merchandise for her school-based store of ice cream and food. She sells breakfasts in the school cooperative and wants to increase her supply of candies and cracklings in order to earn a higher income.

Señora Guadalupe and her husband have been selling food for three years. They have five children: two of them are already married and three of them still live at home, of whom two are working at a foreign-owned factories and support the family with household expenses and school fees for the youngest boy. In the future they want to buy another tricycle to sell snow cones, tostadas (fried corn pancakes) and candies in the streets.
