Kim Song is 40 years old. She is widowed and lives with her two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. Kim Song has been involved in agriculture for more than two years and is successful in her career. She grows cassava and mushrooms. Kim Song earns about $16 per day. Her children are still in her care. Due to a lack of funds, Kim Song is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase materials to use in mushroom cultivation. By doing so, she will be able to produce more mushrooms to sell and to earn more money. In the future, she would like to expand her business and to help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
