The NONVIGNON C1 group consists of three members who live in the same neighborhood.

The group's representative, Rose-Claire, is the woman raising her hand in the photo. She is 41 years old and married to a man named Félicien. Rose-Claire and her husband have four children, all in school and all their dependents. Rose-Claire has attended school up to the secondary level and lives with her husband and children. The couple jointly takes care of the various household expenses.

Rose-Claire has been selling fabrics and shoes from home and through the distribution system, for almost twenty years. She buys her goods at a market in Benin.

It is the fourth time that Rose-Claire and the other members of the NONVIGNON C1 group are requesting financial assistance from ALIDé in order to boost their working capital and their activity, and to better meet their customers' demand. Previous loans have been duly repaid.

NONVIGNON C1 est un groupe de trois personnes, dont les membres résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupe, Rose-Claire (dont la main est levée sur la photo), est âgée de 41 ans et est mariée à un certain Félicien. Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés et à leur charge. Rose-Claire a fréquenté l’école et s’est arrêté au niveau secondaire. Rose-Claire vit ensemble avec ses enfants et son mari et assure ensemble avec son mari, les différentes charges de la maison. Depuis près d’une vingtaine d’année, Rose-Claire vend des tissus et des chaussures à son domicile et par le système de distribution. Rose-Claire s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. C’est la quatrième fois que Rose-Claire et les autres membres du groupe NONVIGNON C1 sollicitent l’appui financier de ALIDé en vue de renforcer leur fonds de roulement et leur activité afin de mieux répondre aux exigences de leur clientèle. Les crédits reçus antérieurement ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
