Mrs. Sai M. is 35 years old and earns about $4 a day raising pigs and growing rice on her farm. Her husband, Mr. Lao Siem, makes a living raising fish, and makes around $3 a day. They have three children who help their mother farm. They have applied for a loan to buy a grinding mill that they can use and also rent out to their neighbors.
