The communal bank "Mujeres con Decisión" is formed by 14 members who work in different business activities. These activities allow them to pay their bills and contribute to the home economies. They are known to be kind, friendly women who fight day in day out, and follow the culture and traditions of their villages. They live in different places in the city of Cuenca. This city has a cold climate and has been part of the World Cultural Heritage since 1999. It has great natural and cultural wealth, its cuisine if very varied and captivates the palate of natives and visitors alike.

One of the members of the group is Norma. She lives in the Mutualista Azuay sector in the city of Cuenca. She is 36 years old, married and from this relationship has two children, aged 17 and 9. Her oldest child is studying at college and her youngest studies in a school in the city. Her husband works as a public employee. The house where they live is their own property.

Norma has made a living for the last two years selling cosmetics and various beauty products. She sells to her friends from university, as she is studying nutrition and diet and is in her last year of this university degree.

She has been a member of the communal bank for a year and will invest her loan in buying cosmetics to increase her stock.

Her goal is to graduate and be a good professional.

El banco comunal Mujeres con Decisión está formado por 14 socias, quienes laboran en diferentes actividades las mismas que les permiten solventar sus gastos y aportar a la economía de sus hogares, se caracterizan por ser mujeres amables y muy gentiles que luchan el día a día, aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos. Viven en diferentes lugares de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad tiene clima frió, es desde 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, tiene una gran riqueza natural y cultural, su gastronomía es muy variada y cautiva el paladar de propio y extraños.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Norma, vive por el sector de la Mutualista Azuay en la ciudad de Cuenca, tiene 36 años de edad, está casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 2 hijos de 17 y 9 años de edad, su primer hijo está estudiando en el colegio y su segundo hijo estudia en una escuela de la ciudad. Su esposo labora como empleado público, la casa en la que vive es de su propiedad.

La Señora. Norma hace 2 años se dedica a la venta de cosméticos y varios productos de belleza, les vende a sus amigas de la universidad, ya que estudia nutrición y dietética y cursa el último año de su carrera universitaria.

Es socia del banco comunal hace un año y su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de cosméticos para aumentar su mercadería.

Su meta es graduarse y ser una buena profesional.
