Her current loan request, the tenth one, is for 16,000 HNL that will be invested in supplies such as cornmeal and firewood to sell as well as to use in making tortillas. Part of the loan will also be used to make improvements to an apartment she rents out as an additional source of income. This will help her improve financially. Her goal is to continue working by attending to her customers. Maria also plans to use her earnings to obtain a tortilla stand so that she can continue making improvements to her rental apartments.

Doña Maria tiene una actividad de negocio el cual le genera ingresos para su manutención. Es la elaboración y venta de tortillas y compra y venta de leña. Hace 10 años trabaja vendiendo tortillas la cual ya cuenta con su propia clientela, Es una señor muy conocida en la colonia donde vive destacándose por una mujer muy trabajadora que se ha dedicado toda su vida a trabajar para sacar sus hijos adelante, sus hijos ya están mayores y le ayudan con algunos gastos.
Ella es una excelente cliente de ODEF con la cual lleva 9 créditos, actualmente solicita el préstamo numero diez de 16,000 lempiras que lo invertirá en comprar insumos como harina de maíz, compra de leña para consumo y venta para la elaboración de las tortillas y otra parte la destinara para hacerle mejoras a un apartamento que tiene para alquiler donde obtendrá otro ingreso extra que le ayudara ha mejorar económicamente.
Su meta es seguir trabajando para seguir atendiendo a sus clientes, también piensa que con las ganancias que obtenga de la venta de tortillas podrá seguir mejorando los apartamentos que tiene.
