Mdune is a married man with six children, three of whom are in school. He has been operating a goat meat business for over twenty years, selling at the market. His primary customers are the butchery operators and travelers. Mdune owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. His dream is to open a retail shop in the future. Frequent disease outbreak is his major challenge.
With the loan of KES 80000, he intends to purchase goats and cows.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
