Joe Ann is 23 years old and married with two children. She lives in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. For the past five years, Joe Ann has been a farmer and grows a sort of palay (unmilled rice) to earn a living. Joe Ann earns 8,000 Philippine pesos (PHP) each month.
Joe Ann joined GDMPC in 2011. She is requesting a 10,000 PHP loan from GDMPC to purchase fertilizer. In the future, she hopes to reap a good harvest with her investment and apply appropriate pest-and-insect-killing fertilizer to boost growth and avoid the loss of capital. Joe Ann is planning to expand her business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
