Hortencia tiene 59 años de edad y vive en Duran. Ella tiene un taller de confección y venta de colas en su domicilio. El negocio lo empezó desde muy joven cuando aprendió la costura por él desea de ayudar contribuyendo con su familia. Hace 12 años que realiza la confección de manera particular y le ha dado buenos resultados, como se separo de su esposo tuvo que hacerse cargo de sus hijos y esta actividad constituyo su forma de vida. El trabajo lo realiza sola porque a sus clientes le gusta su trabajo y lo prefiere así ya que brinda mejor calidad. Realiza todo tipo de vestuarios como camisas, ternos, vestidos, uniformes dependiendo de lo que solicitan. Hortencia nos comenta que ahora vive sola ya que sus hijos son mayores de edad y con familia. De momento su mayor problema es la competencia que si tiene por eso da el mejor servicio para que los clientes regresen. Con el crédito piensa comprar materiales de construcción para mejorar su vivienda.
