The “Joyitas” (Little Jewels) group will start its first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Patacamaya Focal Center. It has ten members led by a governing board headed by Lendaura. The members of this communal bank carry out a variety of businesses among which we have: vegetables sales, meat sales, clothes sales, livestock sales, assorted merchandise sales and neighborhood store.

Lendaura indicates that this is the first time she’s joined Pro Mujer having joined thanks to an invitation from a promoter. She currently has a neighborhood store that she learned from her mother.

The loan she’ll take out now is to increase capital. She will buy foodstuffs in the street markets in El Alto and Viacha for subsequent resale in sales space. This way of working allows her to generate income to support her family however possible because she’s single and has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she answers that she likes the health training, the loans and the quickness of the loans.

La A.C. “GRUPO JOYITAS” iniciará el ciclo primer en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Patacamaya, está compuesta por diez integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Lendaura. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: venta de verduras, venta de carne, venta de ropa, venta de ganado, venta de artículos varios, tienda de barrio.

La señora Lendaura, indica que es la primera vez integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio tienda de barrio, mismo que aprendió de una de su madre.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de víveres), mismos que comprará de las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y Viacha posteriormente lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su familia, pues ella es soltera y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación de salud y crédito y el crédito ágil.
