Martha is a mother of one child who is already enrolled in school. She has been selling charcoal for the past two years, selling at retail to the local residents and people in transit. Martha thinks of opening a charcoal depot in future.
She lives in a rental house that has both electricity and piped water. She joined Yehu to get loans. She describes rent bills and food to be her greatest monthly expenses.
The loan of 30,000 will enable her to purchase sacks of charcoal for sale.
