Stellah is married with one child who attends school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past six years, Stellah has operated a retail shop business and greengrocery selling business, working in a shop and selling to her neighbours and passers-by. She faces the major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of establishing a wholesale business in the future.
With her loan of 40,000 KES she wants to purchase food stall items and sacks of vegetables for her grocery business. She decided to join Kiva partner Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
