Raen is 29 years old. She is a mother of two children and resides with her husband in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been running a sewing shop for more than two years, earning approximately $10 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $7 per day. In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Raen is requesting a loan of $750 to purchase more cloth to sew more clothes to sell. By doing so, she would earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelors degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
