Bo is 45 years old. She is the mother of four children and resides with her husband in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been involved in growing rice and fattening up animals for more than seven years, earning approximately $6 per day. Her husband runs a business of sound equipment rental. He earns about $4 per day. Two of her children are employed. They earn about $7 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Bo is requesting a loan of $500 for her husband to purchase a motorbike to resell for a profitable price. By doing so, her husband would generate additional income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn Bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it more comfortable for her family.
