Alice has four children, all attending school. She operates an academy, their potential customers being the primary school children in the area. She says that a majority of the parents are reluctant to pay school fees, posing a challenge for her. Alice owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her aim is to expand her academy to accommodate more school children. Her choice to join Yehu was to access loans.
The loan of 40,000 KES will enable her to purchase desks and stationery.
