Señora Celina works providing cleaning services to different houses in a neighborhood with families with high levels of financial resources, and her husband works in the same way by doing swimming-pool maintenance for these same families. Until a short time ago, they have been living in a rented house where the rental price was very high, so they decided to build their own home on a plot of land which was inherited from Señora Celina's father. Bit by bit they are doing construction, as they have the main shell of the house and lack the money to purchase the materials for doing the detailed work. Thus this loan will be destined for the purchase of said materials; although the house wasn't completely finished, they already moved in.
Señora Celina's dreams and goals are to fully complete construction on her house, where her children will be able to live comfortably with each one having their own room.
Entre sus sueños y mentas de la señora Celina esta terminar de construir totalmente su casa donde sus hijos puedan vivir cómodamente en una habitación cada uno

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
