Kenneth is a young man of 28 years. He is married and has two children who are five years old and five months old. The five-year-old boy is in kindergarten. Kenneth also stays with his younger brother and sister for whom he pays tution for university and high school, respectively.

Kenneth has a small furniture workshop where he makes tables, cupboards and beds on a small scale. He also makes local wood varnish and sells it. He employs two boys who help him in making the above. He makes an average profit of UGX 400,000 per month, depending on the season.

Kenneth wants UGX 3,000,000 to complete payment for a piece of land in the outskirts of the city, on which he has already made partial payment. He wishes to start constructing a house for his family if he gets funds so that he can stop renting, which eats into his income and yet he has many family demands.

His main challenge is that at times he buys poor quality wood that cracks before he uses it when there is a lot of sunshine or during transportation of the furniture.

Kenneth is a very hard working young man, which is the reason he has been able to send his siblings to school. In the picture is Kenneth on the land he is buying.
