Loeng is a 24-year-old married woman and a resident of Baray district. She has a small young kid who is under her care. She is a local rice cultivator who has been operating this business for many years. But due to experiencing financial difficulties, she decided to work in a garment factory in Phnom Penh city in order to lift her family out of poverty.
With the loan amount of USD 800, she would like to purchase a used motorcycle for personal use so that she can travel to work by herself every day without paying for transportation fees as she did previously. This loan will enable her to cut down on some expenses.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
